Melanie Therrien is working with Lewiston's Public Art Committee to expand her Traffic Control Box Public Art Project. The project has been a way to cover up vandalism and has expanded to 17 more boxes getting painted this spring and the rest in the fall.
Public Art is a great way to share art with others that is free and accessible to everyone. By investing in Public Art we can help beautify our city by covering up vandalism, create a sense of place, boost economic growth and gives artists opportunities.
